FIVE TEN ARCHITECTURE & studioBOSE

Tierra Antigua’s architectural identity was shaped by two firms with a deep understanding of Santa Fe’s built environment and the landscape that defines it.

Meet the Team!

Daniel Martinez and Louis Martinez of Five Ten Architecture helped establish the community’s core architectural vocabulary, reflected in the Sunset, Sunrise, and Stargazer plans. Their approach honors the timeless forms of Northern New Mexico while introducing fresh proportions, intentional lines, and a modern dialogue with the land. The result is a collection of homes that feel sculptural, grounded, and quietly confident.

Complementing this foundation, Santa Fe–raised architect Rajah of studioBOSE brings a forward-looking perspective centered on light, views, and right-sized luxury. His Jewel Box plan embraces a glass-forward sensibility, while the Meadowlark plan features expansive mass timber ceilings that create warmth, volume, and a soft, inviting atmosphere.

After gaining experience at Airbnb, Dolby, and OZ Architecture, Rajah returned home to found studioBOSE and author these two distinctive plans. Both designs elevate indoor–outdoor living and frame mountain and meadow vistas through elegant simplicity, offering a modern counterpoint that completes Tierra Antigua’s architectural portfolio.

Architecture with Roots in Tradition and Eyes on the Horizon

Their work honors the enduring forms of Northern New Mexico while introducing modern proportions and refined detailing. Across Tierra Antigua, their designs engage the landscape with intention, creating homes that feel timeless without imitation.

A Portfolio Reflected Across Tierra Antigua

Each home plan carries a distinct architectural signature.

The Sunset Plan by Five Ten Architecture is a contemporary interpretation of Pueblo-influenced form, centered around three covered portals and carefully framed views.

The Sunrise Plan by Five Ten Architecture is a light-filled layout with more than 700 square feet of covered outdoor living, designed to welcome the morning.

The Stargazer Plan by Five Ten Architecture blends modern and traditional design to highlight mountain vistas and open-air living, with more than 1,100 square feet of covered portal space.

The Meadowlark Plan by studioBOSE is a vaulted, airy design that brings meadow views into the home through expansive glazing and warm materials.

The Jewel Box Plan by studioBOSE is a compact yet luxurious layout with floor-to-ceiling windows, crafted as a luminous retreat.

A Commitment to Craft and Context

Five Ten Architecture is known for its respect for regional heritage, mastery of proportion and natural light, integration of indoor and outdoor spaces, and the use of materials that age gracefully within the desert environment. Their designs feel as comfortable as they are contemporary.

These values align closely with Tierra Antigua’s philosophy: beauty grounded in simplicity, luxury shaped by intention, and a connection to land that guides every decision.

A Vision Built to Last

Through their collaboration with Arete Homes of Santa Fe, Daniel and Louis Martinez created a collection of residences that reflect modern craftsmanship rooted in place. These homes are designed not only for today, but for the generations who will inherit the landscape and the way of life it supports.
